I had oatmeal, blueberries and soy milk for breakfast. I had w/w pita chips and Amadeus hummus for a mid morning snack. Then I went on a bike ride at Minto Brown.
When I got home it was nearly 1pm. I tried to think of what I wanted to eat. Nothing sounded good. Mark and Dad warmed up leftovers for lunch. Mark wanted just a little more so we cooked several artichokes from our garden. There were some left over so I thought, "maybe an artichoke is what I want." No, that wasn't it.
I started making some E2 Mighty Muffins (with extra chocolate chips). That wasn't it either. I thought of every possibility that was available. Nothing. By this time it was after 2:30 and I was getting hungry.
Then it came to me. I wanted a green smoothie. What a shock. I fixed one with:
kale
cucumber
orange
1/2 of a lime
1/3 of an avocado
coconut water
green grapes
a big handful of frozen pineapple chunks
(I didn't take a picture because, trust me, it looks like all the green green smoothies from the past 3 days)
It was heaven! It made 5 cups so I shared one cup with Mark (something I didn't do over the 3-day cleanse). I asked him how he liked it. He said "hmm...it's okay".
Just okay? It was wonderful. Maybe my tastes have changed a bit.

I'm glad we both decided to have a green smoothie after our cleanse! Do you think our tastes have changed? I really enjoyed my avocado smoothie, but I don't know how jazzed about it I would have been before (when I was eating more SAD foods). I didn't make it very sweet and I liked it that way.
