Fresh Salsa and Multigrain Chips
I haven't spent a lot of time in the kitchen these last few days. The veggie lasagna and chili we made lasted forever. In fact we still have a lot of chili in the fridge! Because lunch and dinner have been covered for the last week and a half, I've noticed that I snack a lot. Sometimes I'm smart about what I snack on (see above)....

Sugar Free Hot Chocolate and
Newtons Chocolate Raspberry Fruit Thins
Coconut Milk Ice Cream made with Agave
German Chocolate Flavor

Other times I am not. For some reason I have been craving chocolate like nobody's business. It's hard to make smart choices sometimes. Interestingly enough, I thought that giving up dairy (especially cheese) would be the hardest part of our lifestyle change. Nope, it's the sugar. Sure, the cookies don't have any high fructose corn syrup, are made with whole wheat (too bad it's not 100% whole wheat), and include real fruit, but they are a processed food. I need to really think ahead and make some healthy snack for times when I really start obsessing about chocolatey goodness.
