Tasty

I started the day with my own variation of the Purple Power Smoothie. I didn't take a picture of it because it just looked like a purple green smoothie. I made it with:
1 cup POM Pomegranate Cherry juice
1 cup baby spinach
1 cup baby kale
3 mini cucumbers
1 ripe banana
1 cup frozen mixed berries

Lunch was not on the program.

For dinner we had Shitake Watercress Soup. I thought it was quite tasty. Mark loved it.

As a side note...Yesterday I commented on how my Apple Berry Bites didn't seem to set up like Dr. Fuhrman's. I used the recipe directly from Dr. Fuhrman's Super Immunity book. I happened to look at the recipe on his website this morning and noticed that it called for 3 Tbsp ground chia seeds, which it doesn't in his book. That might account for his picture looking more set up. I'll try it again sometime to find out.
