8/31

Today was my pre-6-week-challenge day. Part of me wanted to wanted to go eat everything I love that's not on the program, but the other part knew that I needed to jump right in.

I started with a spinach green smoothie for breakfast. It included 2 cups spinach, 1 cup frozen mixed berries, a banana, a fresh peach and a package of coconut water.

I drank the first 3 cups with 1/2 handful of raw almonds and pecans before I went to the Courthouse and worked out on the rowing machine for 1/2 hour. I drank the remaining 2 cups with the rest of the handful of nuts after getting home from the gym.

For lunch I found all sorts of BOGO coupons for fast food that had come in the mail. I really had a hard time not getting in the car and going to Wendy's or Buger King or Carl's Jr. They all looked so good. I finally had to sit myself down and take a breather. Then I tossed the coupons in the recycling and went to the fridge and got the leftover ratatouille from last night.

It was even better the second day. I was so glad I didn't succumb to the fast food temptation. I ate it with a homemade w/w roll.

For dinner I had a romaine with vidalia onion dressing and some fresh tomato/basil soup from Costco with 3 more rolls. The rolls were so good that after dinner I ate another roll with peanut butter.

After dinner Mark and I went on a 40 minute walk in Woodmansee Park.

It was not a bad day, but not a great day either. I didn't do fast food, but I ate a total of 5 w/w rolls today!
